You print the pages directly onto the shrink film, let the kids color them, shrink them, and they’ve got a cute party favor to hang on their backpack! I started experimenting- sometimes it’s worth it to spend a little time experimenting before getting the kids involved. If it does not uncurl on its own, carefully use the bottom of a glass to manually flatten it down. Place it on parchment or foil and watch the magic happen as it curls, then flattens. Keep this in mind when selecting your colors and designing your artwork. These markers provide smooth, consistent coverage and are ideal for blending colors to create intricate designs. I also like to fold the parchment paper over the baked keychains and then place a heavy book on top while they cool to make sure they finish totally flat. Wait until your item has flattened back out before you remove it from the oven. If you pull a shrinky dink out of the oven when it’s still curled up, you’ll never get it to lay completely flat, and you’ll be unhappy with the finished result.
